As you know, Patrick is working hard at Kibabii University. Thanks to your generosity, he’s been able to keep up with tuition, stay connected with an internet subscription, and continue feeding his family through Seeds of Hope. He’s staying focused, making progress, and always so grateful.
This week, Patrick reached out with a specific and urgent need. For one of his courses - Theories of Literary Criticism - he’s required to purchase ten Swahili literature books. The total cost for all of them is $185, and right now, that’s more than he can afford.
In his words:
“Every second-year student at Kibabii University is required to purchase and study these ten Swahili literature books… The total cost of USD 185 is currently beyond my financial ability. I am therefore humbly requesting your kind assistance…”
I know many of you have already given so much. Believe me, I hesitated to send this message because I don’t want to keep asking. Your past support has already done so much good. But if you’re able to give a little more, this would be a meaningful way to keep Patrick moving forward.
The books are essential for his coursework and exams. This isn’t just about reading — it’s about staying on track with his degree and not falling behind.
Patrick also shared this message for you:
“Your help has made a lasting difference in my education and family life. Thank you once again for walking this journey with me.”
If you feel you can help with part of the cost - or even just share this with someone else who might - that would make all the difference.
With gratitude,
Charlie
