A Special Thank-You from Patrick Wesonga

“First and foremost, I want to sincerely appreciate all your efforts—through donations and personal sacrifices—to ensure I can pursue my degree at Kibabii University. Your kindness means so much, not just to me but to my entire community.

Each day, I follow a structured schedule to stay on track. I wake up at 4 a.m. to study until 6 a.m., then head to the fields to check on our maize crop and handle other responsibilities. Balancing studying, fieldwork, and domestic chores isn’t easy, but it’s worth it to achieve my dream of becoming a teacher.

I’m also proud to share some exciting news: Kibabii University is ranked fifth nationwide academically! Being part of such a winning community makes me proud and motivates me to keep striving for excellence.

However, I face challenges, too. While Kibabii offers both online and physical lessons, the high cost of transportation often prevents me from attending all the in-person classes I need. But I’m determined not to give up.

Your support gives me the strength to keep going. Every contribution helps me stay focused on my dream—to graduate and one day bring education back to my village in Bungoma.

As the new semester approaches, I still need your help. We’re working to raise $900 by January 5th to cover my tuition for the second semester. Will you help me reach this goal and keep my dream alive?”
