As I look back on my first year at Kibabii University, I am filled with deep gratitude, not only for the academic progress I have made, but also for the support that has made this journey possible. This year has been one of growth, responsibility, and determination, and it would not have been possible without you.
My experience has not been the typical full-time university life. While studying part-time, I have also had to care for my mother and tend to our fields, especially during planting and harvest seasons. Balancing school, home, and farm work has been demanding, but I remained committed. I am proud to say I completed my first year with good results in all my exams.
Your support has made an incredible difference. You covered my tuition in full, leaving me with no outstanding balance, and provided study materials through Mr. Martin. You even helped when transportation became a challenge, especially during exams. This help was not only financial; it was emotional. It reminded me that I am not walking this path alone.
Because of you, I did not have to choose between being a student and being a son. I could do both, and for that, I am truly thankful.
