I’ve got some exciting news to share from Kenya. I wanted to update you on our fifth planting for the Seeds of Hope project! So far, four full fields of corn have been planted, and we’ve added fertilizer to help the crops grow strong. The best part is that the corn is already coming up and looks really healthy. There’s been a lot of rain in the area, which is exactly what we were hoping for.

Here in Issaquah, the rainy season is starting. The weather’s getting colder, and the days are getting shorter. Even though summer is behind us, I’m really looking forward to Halloween - it’s one of my favorite holidays. I love the costumes, the decorations, and everything that comes with it.

Thank you so much for supporting Charlie Cares and helping make Seeds of Hope possible. Every field we plant means more food and more hope for families in Kenya.

If you haven’t already, please sign up for our newsletter at www.charliecares.org. It’s the best way to stay updated on everything we’re doing and see how your support is making a real difference.

Thanks again for being part of this journey.
