I’m so excited to share a new update about Patrick Wesonga and how he’s doing at Kibabii University. It’s really special to see how something we’ve all been part of is making such a real difference in his life.
Patrick just finished his Year 2, Semester 2, and his results are amazing. He earned 8 A grades and 1 B, with an overall performance rated as excellent. Some of his highest scores include 96.67% in Community Service & Life Skills, 93.33% in Curriculum Studies, and 90% in History of Education. Even his lowest grade, a B in History of Kenya, is still something to be proud of. These grades show not just how capable he is, but how much effort he’s putting into his education every single day.
What really stands out to me is what this progress means beyond the grades. When we started Fields to Future, the goal was simply to help Patrick get to university. Now he’s there, and he’s not just getting by - he’s doing incredibly well. He’s gaining knowledge and confidence that will help him create opportunities for himself and give back to his community in the future. That’s something we’re all helping make possible together.
Patrick also said he’s determined to keep improving in the coming semesters, which is so inspiring. We’ll keep supporting him every step of the way, and I’ll continue sharing updates so you can see the real impact of your generosity.
