Update on Our Textbook Drive

I hope you had an awesome Halloween! Whether you dressed up, handed out candy, or just enjoyed a cozy evening, I hope it brought you joy.

I wanted to share some exciting news that happened this week for Fields to Future!

Thanks to a very generous donor (who has helped us so many times before - thank you from the bottom of my heart!), we received a $50 donation to help Patrick Wesonga buy some of the textbooks he needs for his classes at Kibabii University in Kenya.

Then something amazing happened - my dad matched that donation! And not only that, he even helped track down some of the textbooks as downloadable files online. So while we didn’t quite reach the full $185 Patrick needed, we were able to cover a really good amount of his textbook needs!

This kind of teamwork is exactly what Charlie Cares is all about. Every donation, every share, every kind word - it all comes together to help someone go further in life. Patrick is studying hard and staying so focused, and knowing people care about his education gives him such a boost.
